Vintage French Style Armchair
A Super Looking French Style Armchair. A great shape with high squared back, high arms with shaped fronts. It has a nice timber framed finish. Sat on talk carved and reeded tapered legs all round. It has nicely shaped fabric covered arm tops.
It has a good overall position with angled back etc. As you can see in the photos the chair has this nice beige fabric in good overall condition but would benefit a clean, plus it's slightly frayed on the arm tops. The chair is in good overall condition. I believe the chair is roughly 30 years old. The chair has a great position and is very comfortable to sit in.
The fabric is in good condition with just a very light bit of ware (see photos). The timber is in good overall condition but does have a bit of lightening and finish loss in places and ware marks here and there but this adds to the overall character really. Plus a few small marks here and there (see photo). The is chair solid and sturdy overall.
As mentioned above the fabric could do with a clean plus the fabric is frayed on the arm tops (see photo). A great looking chair that could easily be used as it is or would look even better recovered in a modern contemporary fabric.Back height - 97 cm. Seat height - 49 cm. Seat width - 46 cm. Overall depth - 62 cm. From mid September I will be no longer using my carrier due to a huge raise in pricing and an unfortunate amount of careless breakages. So I will be using a new end to end carrier who collects from here every 10 14 days and then usually delivers the following week. The only thing maybe the slightly longer wait to get the item to you. The most it would be is 4 weeks the least a few days just depending on the amount.
