Spectacular French Empire Triple Wardrobe. Mounted on turned legs with brass rings, large base unit with three good sized drawers (one has a working lock and key). Fielded panel sides and doors with fabulous quarter cut mahogany. Double arched pediment to the top. The drawers and panelling have brass beading surrounds, there are large brass mounts of foliate wreaths to the door fronts, a further ormolu mount of foliate and swags to the cornice and mounts elsewhere on the armoire. Very large central level edged mirror. There are knocks, marks and dinks to the woods commensurate for age.

Small sections of brass beading missing or slightly bent which are hardly noticeable. Separates to flat pack for transportation, the largest sections being the drawer base and cornice. A spectacular wardrobe armoire, displays magnificently and is in very good order. Matching dressing table also listed (last photo). 223cm width, 60cm depth, 209cm height.
