Rococo Upholstered French Style Curved Super King Bed
Beautiful Upholstered French Style Curved Rococo Super King Bed, it is a beautiful piece! Rococo style, ornately carved with intricate details this bed is solid wood with silver leaf painted finish. Feet are the classic scroll leg, curved lines and reflecting all the details of classical French furniture of 18th Century France. This bed has a curved headboard which gives a lovely enclosed feeling and its upholstered in luxurious two tone velvet which was v expensive but worth it. The velvet is dark grey but has a light more beige grey tone running through it which gives the fabric a wonderful texture.
We had it upholstered locally and as you can see from the pictures, it was an excellent job. We originally bought the bed from Chichi Furniture and sought out a local Oxfordshire upholsterer for the finishing work. It's easy to assemble with 17 numbered slats that are a great support for the mattress.
Your mattress will easily fit into this bed and does leave a gap on either side of ours by about two fingers. Any questions please ask away.
