This Butcher Table, or pastry table, would add the ideal amount of surface space to any kitchen. Crafted in France, the work table has a polishd iron finish and features a scalloped apron with intricate metal work, beautiful scrolled legs and decorative mounts. The table has a pink marble top with a groove around the perimeter, which was once used to catch blood as the butcher was carving meat. In more recent years butchers would use these as displays for delicate meats and also would often be seen as display counters inside a patisserie. Excellent condition with a rich patinated finish.
