Hello and welcome to the sale of this lovely antique mirror. Made in France in the late 19th Century this antique wall mirror has a superb decorative look to it.
Being of a good size it would suit use as either an over mantle or freestanding mirror. It has a wooden frame with a gilt finish and rounded top surrounding a thick mirror plate. To the top of the frame is a bronze pediment of a floral display. The mirror is not without its issues.
The bottom of the mirror has been damaged with a chip out of the left corner and distress to the frame and some water damage to the backing of the mirror plate to the right. However saying this, the mirror is good and solid and has been touched up sympathetically. Which means if like me you like your mirrors with character, you get this one at half the price of a perfect one. Please have a good look at the photographs as they form part of the description and contact me if you have any further questions. The mirror measures (in cm) 133 tall by 93 wide.
