Oval French Vintage Cast Iron Marble Topped Bistro / kitchen / Garden / Patio. This version of the bistro table has a stunning and decorative iron cast base which is able to be dismantled by a number of bolts into 5 smaller pieces. Finished in a black paint it is designed to be used either outdoors or indoors should you wish. It has a solid marble oval table top which is either fixed or seated on to the iron base. Sourced from France it has both a popular and timeless design still being popular in bars and restaurants throughout France, having your afternoon tea on this table will make you feel like your sitting in a Paris cafe! A perfect addition to the home, garden or situated in a cafe / bar or restaurant. Seats 2 / 4 ideal for afternoon tea. (Check measurements for use with chairs and dining plates). Excellent build quality and finish with solid marble top and cast iron base.
Base is black and will have signs of subtle wear, but jas undergone a generous oil coating. Painting to a like new finish is easy with a coat of Hammerite exterior paint (spray or brush) no need to prime. Overall in lovely condition for age, having very little in the way of marks on the marble. It has a wonderful and charming patina to the iron base, while having a clean and attractive marble table top. The iron base may have some subtle marks or signs of use here or there, but being made from iron this is not easily noticed.
We have oiled the base to provide a nice waterproofing and soft sheen to its appearance. Please note although it is in very good condition there will be some light marks on the table from use, we do aim to photograph all our items in detail so that their condition can be seen in detail.
