French Style Louis XVI 3 seater sofa, shabby chic settee needs loving care

This is our sofa its still in great condition padding wise. (I wrote with photoshop children with Drinks, this is not written on the settee by the way). Our sofa is still very beautiful, but with a make over it will look amazing. A couple of things u need to know. Our beloved cat Morgana many years ago decided to scratch the back of it even tho we had a scratch block for her as you can see by the photographs. And getting into our home i knocked one of the design pieces of the sofa my partner didn't speak to me for 2 days. I have circled it, and also put a clear photograph up too, we put it somewhere to glue it back on, but we looked for it at the weekend with no joy! You may know a joiner or wood carver its quite a simple design to do so i have been told. This settee is a wonderful settee still bouncy and comftable, b ut as i said needs someone to love it and bring it back to life. It fits 3 adults easily and a 4 year old or it fits 5 children of different ages how do i know this, because New Year is always at our home and the cousins argue who will sit like royalty on it. So now its just the settee. I have left it open to offers, but i thought for someone who does upholstery its fabulous.
