A French Louis XIII walnut bonnetière from the mid-18th century, with two doors, central drawer and original hardware. Made in France during the 18th century, this walnut cabinet showcases the stylistic characteristics of the Louis XIII era. A large molded cornice overhangs the façade presenting two doors separated from one another by a central dovetailed drawer.
Each door, adorned with raised diamonds motifs ("en pointes de diamant" typical of the Louis XIII style), opens to reveal, thanks to its original hardware, inner shelves offering good storage. The side panels are carved with diamond motifs while the ensemble is resting on bun feet. With its Louis XIII lines and fantastic walnut patina, this bonnetière will be a great addition to any home.
