Fine French antique Louis XV1 marble topped inlaid bombe chest of drawers of small accommodating proportions and attractive form. Height:83.5 cms, width: 69.2 cms, : depth: 35.7 cms. Circa late 1800's - early 1900's. Attractive original age related rich warm colour and patination having striking clarity of bold grain figure, well figured rough marble top stylish restrained inlay, rich gilt bronze mountings.

Well balanced proportions and form wearing its age well. Pleasing original period used cherished condition, without woodworm, or loss, insignificant historic fine hairline crack restoration to marble top which is not very noticeable as it blends in with the natural veins of the marble this is also reflected in the asking price, key for display only as it does not turn the original locks. A very versatile stylish rich classic item of furniture, ideal.
