Exigence cherry wood 5 drawer chest is a very good quality piece of French furniture, and it's tall narrow dimensions are a convenient feature if floor space is limited. It has an intentionally distressed finished to heighten it's nice aged / country look, and the distressing includes simulated wood worm which is quite prominent in places, especially at the front right hand corner of the top. There are also some simulated age lines in the top and drawer fronts. The chest also features exposed / protruding dummy peg joints in the top and front, and. Underside of the top is nicely sculpted. Fitted with antique finished tapering brass handles, and a nicely fashioned bracket foot style plinth provides perfect support. The condition is very good, with only minor marks of use to mention.
