Antique French Rococo Armoire/Linen Press, circa 1900. Courier available

Please see for sale today this beautiful French Armoire, Rococo in style and dating to around 1900. The style perfectly lends itself to the new paint treatment with the exterior painted in a very pale distressed grey and all the internal parts a darker tonal grey. It is a press with shelves that are not fixed so just slot on supports.

In fact the whole armoire is a knock down in sections making it easy to transport and assemble in situ. It just slots and bolts together. It is an antique and solid and structurally sound but has the odd lump and bump expected with age and use which sort of adds to its shabby charm.

The mirrors have foxing and again suits the piece. There is no key but it is easy to open and shut the doors. It is a tall Armoire and stands at 98 inches (249 cms) the depth. At the widest part of the Cornice is (51cms) and the width is 49 inches (125 cms) again at the widest point of the cornice. I also have other items for sale which you can view in my other listings.
