This is a handsome French pine larder cupboard which dates to around 1900. It is well sized and fairly heavy, quite tall and narrow, and is one solid piece.

Made of solid painted pine this piece has a quirky French country look which will suit a farmhouse or large cottage, it is perfect for anyone who loves unusual furniture. The cupboard offers plenty of storage space for food and kitchen equipment and could also be used for linens, clothes and bedding. The front is fitted with four small doors which open to reveal adjustable shelves. The top cupboard is fitted with a quirky little narrow cupboard which could be used for small jars of herbs.

The larder has its original old yellow painted finish which has a lot of depth and character. The cupboard is lockable and the key works well. The larder is in solid structural condition with a well aged look and many small marks here and there. The interior is quite rustic looking and the shelves may be later replacements. There are some marks and knocks to the painted finish. Width- 90cms at the top, 88cms at the base. The measurements are taken at the widest points.
