Antique Period Piece Antique French Cherry Wood Farm House 3 Plank Refectory Banquet Dining Table, circa 1740's. We are delighted to offer this fabulous dining table. Lovely early French cherry wood refectory table & comfortably seats eight people.
Good aged wax patina & lots & lots of charm. In a gorgeous amber gold colour, exquisite wood grain & knots. Three plank top with cleated ends. A drawer to side center.
With cast iron scroll decorated cup handle & raised on shaped octagonal legs. It's had one or two historical amendments / light repairs along the way but this all seems to add to it's antique charm. Presents very well indeed & has a fantastic patina. Wood knotts, old worm marks & lots of dinks & knocks.Please study the pictures for more details. It's been properly cleaned, waxed & is ready to use.
It's style & design is typical of it's period & would date nicely to circa 1740's. Overall an exceptional piece of furniture in superb display usable solid condition with lots of farm house antique charm. It would make a fabulous interior design statement.
