A fabulous Armoire offering plenty of storage space painted in a weathered grey. Fine craftsmanship and exquisite detail throughout featuring a profusely carved corniche, full length mirrored doors and stands on cabriole front legs. Inside is a hanging rail and shelves. The depth of the armoire is 37cm so only allows for small coat hangers or you can angle the hanger slightly to fit. There is a key and the door closes but the lock is a little temperamental. The armoire has been primed, 2 coats of paint in antique white chalk paint and finished using antique matt polish.

So the finish is a mottled rustic, worn and weathered grey. Crafted In Solid Oak and Walnut. A super example of French country furniture. On close inspection you will find light marks, scuffs and veneer loss to the bottom sides which have been painted over but there are indentations and crevices. The paint has worn away at the base, where the doors open and close.

Foxing on the mirror plate also a few light marks. Old worm holes but fully treated out of caution. Hanging area 60cm width x 138cm height. Shelves 62cm width x 37cm depth.
