Antique 19th c. Opera Glasses Binoculars Sevres Style Blue & Gold French Enamel
Offering a pair of antique French enamel opera glasses. This beautiful pair of glasses is in the deep cobalt blue background which is typified in many Sevres pieces. The deep blue contrasts with sparkling gold stars and gold trim on the edges and surrounding the cartouches of roses and pansies on each lens. The enamel is in amazing condition with no chips or cracks. As you can see in the photos the lone condition issue is that the gold circles that surround each cartouche at one time each had round raised enamel centers and many of those are missing. See full description for many more details.
